Locked Up In The “Psyched” Ward

March 13, 2007

Success! I was able to convince my Dad to let me go alone to my beloved hometown, Naga City, to see my friends and just hang out over the weekend. Okay, I only told him that bit. I didn’t spill the whole plan yet. You know my Dad, when it comes to his kids, he oftentimes get uberparanoid yet agrees in the end of a long debate. On the other hand, Mom seems to take it nonchalantly and only reminds me about a few things ,which is actually good, because I don’t remember a litany of military instructions. I think it’s unhealthy to remember things that annoy you, isn’t it? Nah, just messing around. I appreciate their concern, really. Having a daughter that has been mugged and been involved in a series of horrfying situations, my parents know that it’s necessary to ensure my safety first before they keep their eyes away from me. I couldn’t find more reasonable parents that I can compare to mine. They’re the best. :)

Man, I can’t wait for Friday! I just can’t wait to dig my toes into the sand and burn my sorrow under the sun. Bestie, you gotta be all set when I arrive or we are going nowhere… no, we’re still going with or without concrete plans! Just don’t let me go home before Monday disappointed. I don’t care if we drew in the gang or if we just end up solo again. We’re used to it. Oh yeah, I forgot, bring Jed along (you know how we could use him.haha) even if I wind up as the third wheel. Wah. I am not gonna waste a single minute! I gotta make the most out of it! Whew. I can already feel the energy pumping in my veins! Can you?! Ack, I’m a goner. You can’t pull me out of my excitement now. Too late.

I’m glad I have NO tasks to complete this day. Thanks for giving me a break. More time to blog, shop online, look for affordable travel packages I could use by June and dream on. Yeah! This is how I set my goals. I dream BIG (until I drool). Eww.

Surfing the net, I discovered the website of The Beach Movie starring Leonardo di Caprio in case you don’t know. Astig talaga. Just a trivia, I watched that movie for about 5 times and I read the book once. I love it. So, when I saw these ponchos and nice swimsuit cover-ups worn by the women in the film, I got the urge to buy one too! So I logged on to eBay, but my eyes didn’t find anything to match up to my taste (feeling noh?). Then, hopped on to other online shops in Multiply. Still, nada. Instead of getting a beach wear, I found myself filling out the order form at Avalon. Pssh, piling up books again. I’m such a geek. Well, I promise to find time to read when I get back. As of now, my mission is to take tons of pictures and enjoy myself with friends and not to throw myself into isolation while everyone’s having fun.
