Crazy Blues

While everyone’s unpacking stuff from their trip, I’m still busy watching dvds and splashing out on more dvds. That’s all I ever did during my 4-day time off. And hey, who’s complaining? Definitely not me. I love every minute of it. Now guess what? I found Pan’s Labyrinth for me to see later. St. Francis square is my new haunt and Muslim dvd hawkers, my new friends.  If I want to get my hands on a rare film, no matter how hard it is to acquire, they’ll get it for me. No need to rush to Quiapo! All I have to do is send a text message and pronto – a clear copy with correct decipherable subtitles! Amazing! Haha. I wouldn’t have recognized them if they didn’t come towards me and tell me that my order’s ready. Great! They remembered me. Well, how could they forget me? I ask a lot about films and haggle down their prices habitually (do I need to tell you how fulfilling it feels?). What a scrooge. Haha.

Ok wait, I haven’t told you about what I really DID to while away my time. So here goes…

Thursday: Well, nothing much happened. I slept through the day and prepped myself up for the dvd marathon commencement which followed shortly after I woke up.

Friday: Slept. Ate. Texted. Watched. Talked. Slept. Went to Mass. Chomped.  Watched. Dozed. Dreamed.

Saturday:  Crazy day. Seish and I were the first ones who opened SM North. At first we were debating whether establishments were still closed or already back in business and as usual, I won. I gave him a shrug and a look saying, I told you so and started looking for Ethan’s gift – a batman costume. What can I say? He snatched it away as soon as I got home and tried it on. If only everyone’s as appreciative as him, then gift-giving wouldn’t be so hard for me.Haha.

Later in the afternoon, we went to Presidents Tower to go for a swim since Ethan’s having his pool party there. I didn’t soak myself in the water for long, though. After 30 mins or less, I’m off to the shower room to change. Except that there’s not a drop of water coming out from the shower! Oh, great! Setting aside the bad luck, my day went terrific! I’ve gone to confession with Seish and my brother (yeah, good influence ako) and attended the vigil mass at 9pm at Sacred Heart Parish Church. After that, it’s lamon time again!

Sunday: Laze around the house, sleep, sleep some more and zzzzzzzzzzz….

God, how I missed sleeping.

Monday: Off to work in Bermuda shorts, baby-tee and slippers. Was too sluggish to put on a decent outfit.

And finally, today. Tuesday. I slept at around 3:30 to finish something. There were no pending tasks for this day so what’s a better thing to do than sit around here? Go to Megamall to hit our target: merienda smorgasbord at Dad’s. Whoa. My greedy-gut crony (Bheng) really knows how to polish off the plates and so do I. Too bad, Kayrubs didn’t have much space to stuff all the food in. Bleh! Buti pa kami. Then instead of heading straight to the office, we tested our racing skills at Timezone first and trash talk each other all the way through. So, inggit kayo noh? This is one of those times when you wish you’re living my life, isn’t it? Why not trade places with me then? Yeah, I know…because epac isn’t the place to be. Haha. Ok, I gotta bolt out of this and run home. I’m sick and that’s why I won’t be here tomorrow – hopefully. =p

Anxious to be relieved

After the booze and binge eating sessions, after-party renching, roadtrip adventure and compulsive motion sickness of the past week, I am still, admitedly, itching for some more.

Apparently, this is the last day of work for me and I still don’t have plans for the days ahead. I want to go to Caramoan with the gang, tag along with Joni to Pagudpud, chill with Bop in Baguio and just have fun. But I guess this week isn’t about having fun and that’s just sad, don’t you think? Nah, I should know better. And besides, I think I could find some ways to enjoy the summer. For now, I won’t complain watching Lost and Smallville starting tomorrow, playing NFS Carbon, doing the laundry and treating myself to a spa massage come weekend. I’d probably shop by then since it’s going to be Ethan’s birthday by Saturday and I can’t fail to get him something. :) Of course I won’t forget my religious obligations such as attending masses, vigils and going to confession. In my own belief, it’s a MUST to fullfil these obligations.

Anyway, we moved to Orient. I and the whole SEO Team. I thought we’d be left at Antel Building apart from all the “eye sores”. But here we are, not pretending to be happy about it. My cracked monitor, charcoal-colored dirt wrapped around the keys of my keyboard, my schizophrenic mouse that points everywhere and doesn’t go where you want it to, the doodles on my cubicle and the screeching noise from people just behind it. And there’s only one thing that doesn’t suck…they actually know how to flush the toilets here! Or if most people still seem to be uncivilized, then the janitress just know how to keep it clean. Whoa, I’m just a bitchy mean machine that generates anguish, am I not?Haha.

Ah,darn…now there’s more to hate, the music. Westlife! Argh. I’m regretting the day I sold my mp4 player and right now I’m wanting it back badly. The people from the admin disabled adding new hardware (like USB!f**k!) and probably pinched the soundcard too. Well, time to buy a new gadget to make me smile. At least I have my own desktop PC now. Yahoo! I’ll post my baby’s pic one of these days. Actually, I consider it as my first major investment - because I’ll be paying for it with my own sweet-smelling sweat and thick-as-choco-fudge blood. Wah!

8:51 p.m.

Time to wrap it up, guys! Enjoy the short vacation! Advance Happy Easter to everyone too!:)
