The Troubleshooter

June 22, 2007

If I have ever made any valuable discoveries, it has been due more to patient attention, than to any other talent” - Isaac Newton

badtrip

Uploading files to a particular website can be a toughie especially when it extends up to a week due to unexpected occurences and problems with unknown causes. Usually, troubleshooting don’t take this long and normally, I’d already be screaming mad for the delays…but suprisingly, it became challenging for me. Suddenly, I wanted to resolve the problem on my own; find out what’s wrong and fix it. Even when it’s getting physically draining, I continued the search…hoping I could finish this perfectly. I wanted to give it up but still, I went on.

I gave a little more amount of patience to make it work, I paid a little more attention so I wouldn’t miss out anything and I actually exerted great effort to accomplish this. Nevertheless, this is where I’ve proven that being patient doesn’t always make you a winner, but patience delivers answers clearly - even if it’s a sign of failure.

I ended up with nothing. I found out that I couldn’t upload the whole damn thing because it was created by an online site builder. And no matter what I do, I am not authorized to add or change anything there. Fuck, I was supposed to feel bad about it, but no…I couldn’t possibly feel bad about anything that I chose to do. I am just glad that answers finally revealed itself before I gave up on it. And this is what you should know about me, I don’t quit when I am not supposed to. I don’t turn my back once I promised myself to fix something. Well, it’s just that shit happens and we just have to live with it. Hahaha. Another trick was played on me. Nice one.

  2. Alam mo kse frend, dapat sa umpisa pa lng nisabi na senyo na sitebuilder itech. Eneweiz, you are right in saying that patience reveals things to us… even if that is failure. Maybe the goal is simply to test (and expand) one’s patience. Hehe!
