Google Maps: Embed it on your blog!

Mark your spot and let the whole world know where you stand - with Google Maps. So the news broke out yesterday, August 21, that you can now embed your own customized Google Map on your website in 5 minutes. You won’t have to obtain a Google API or any javascript knowledge just to set this up because you can easily grab the code and paste it on. Read the simple how-to via Google Maps Mania. Let me share you mine.

In the same way, it also works well with your geo searches. However, I don’t have much time to do that now. I’m busy hovering France at the moment. Haha!

…since I last took the bus instead of an expensive taxi cab, waited for the jeepney to get packed, walked quite a distance, dawdled around the mall by myself, gave in to the urge to get some good books for real mental activity and bought something for myself with my own damn credit card. Can you believe that? Out of my 3 flashy credit cards, I only got this time to swipe it for items I wanted and not for any other reason. And I try to avoid using this because I rail against having the responsibility to pay for debts I was forced to incur. Oh well, that’s when generosity becomes wrong, huh?

It’s been a while…

Since I watched a movie with someone. It’s not like it’s a date or something. It isn’t – we’re friends, okay? In fact, it was more of a harassment than a gesture of invitation. Haha. The last movie I saw was Transformers with my nephews and then I was left in the dark after that. Next movie to watch: 1408 by next week.

It’s been a while…

Since I made the time to call up my dentist and ask for an appointment, see my doctor and seek for a medical advice. I’m in a habit of rescheduling appointments such as this – because, I am a coward. Haha! I don’t want to know about anything that is wrong with me before I come to my own realization that I must be getting worse and before I convince myself that I could use a treatment to stop feeling the pain.

It’s been a while…
Since I have managed to reorganize my stuff – do my own laundry, sort out my wardrobe, arrange my book shelves, clean up “the rooms” (and I am still in the process). Actually, I still haven’t started with the latter part. Haha. What can you expect? This is just my second day of being a full-time homebody.

It’s been a while…

Since I started arranging a get together with my old friends (and some people just don’t give a damn that I’m making an effort here!haha), declining to accept any invitation to splurge and simply learning to say NO. If you’re wondering why I’m suddenly nicer, more caring and thoughtful than usual or that I’ve started acting weird – it’s just because of my unexplainable anticipation of being gone for a while. And if it’s death – it could be forever and I’d have to make a move now to make you remember me in a gentler manner.

And It’s been a while…

since I’ve felt this strong about something – about dreaming – about making things happen.
