In search for hotspots in the Philippines, I ended up compiling everything I have gathered from the net (thank you, my sources!), adding up some personal favorites and asking some geeky friends for suggestions and here’s my list (sorry, it’s not that organized. Bo’s Coffee, Katipunan is now a WiFi Hotspot…
They have their own account username & password generating machine, so far secured naman, and the wifi is for free, for every cup…

Colegio de San Juan de Letran - Intramuros. Approach lang dun sa IT Center tapos may ita-type lang sila. Halos yung buong campus ng letran covered, meron lang ibang places na mahina ang signal. Tulad sa mga HS Building. Strongest signal is at the catwalk.

robinsons place manila midtown wing. lahat ng restaurant. mcdonalds las pinas near las pinas golf range, starbucks las pinas for 100 pesos an hour, gee, forget it.

UPdate for UP campus. The WiFi shuts down at around 8pm. It used to be open until the wee hours of the night but they had to put a time limit of sorts.
