I couldn’t believe that I was able to bear 5 long hours of writing nonstop for the completion of the said final exam! Honestly speaking, my brain was already half-dead when I started typing and I had to resist sinking into a coma. And when I saw the number of articles to be submitted? Ha! You could guess! God,I almost died. That was the longest exam I ever took! This one was a killer!
At 8pm, I still have five more remaining articles to finish up - this was ridiculous. I swear I heard myself whisper the words “THIS IS MADNESS!” in heavy sighs. Halfway through the topic Job Hunting, I found myself inserting something like…
“Jitters are normal, especially when you are not used to talking to strangers. But when an employer interviews you, please, hide the nervous wreck in you…
…Whether or not you get the job, you can say in the end that you tried your best with all the effort that you have made. If you didn’t make it this time, don’t ever think that you are a failure instead look at it as a challenge that you have to overcome. Sooner or later, you will be better at it and you will finally find the right job for you.”
A sudden rush of relief surged through my system. I had to slap myself, get up and leave. Besides, I believe that they don’t need a collection of my writing to assess my ability to produce quality works. So there, I took my own advice and I am happy that I did. *cheers*
Fast forward>>>
I performed a search on “sarj” again and look at this:

I am climbing up to the top guys!
From nothing to 9th, 7th, 5th place and now I’ve bagged the 3rd spot out of 2,460,000 result pages for SARJ since I have started optimizing my site with my nickname! Hurrah! :p
*cheers* again!
Here’s the result of my experiment! Ruben’s Multiply page: my guinea pig. Hey, you better thank me that I didn’t ruin your site! Haha. I should get paid for this, but since I bullied you to offer your page as a sacrificial lamb, you can keep it for free. No copyright infringement or anything like it.

Tadah! The GTA San Andreas Theme. =p
Sorry, the footer bit isn’t included in the screenshot. You should see how cool it is. Haha.
Tinker with css, eat, read a newspaper, chat, sing along. Breathe in. Breathe out. Curse everyone! If it would snatch you away from stress, why not?
Staying productive in dead hours is tough, mind you. Super early schedule is not a perk (but, I’d rather have it than GY shift). I haven’t had enough sleep. I’m always sleepy at work and I wanna keep myself up by doing something worthwhile. Things aren’t going so well around here and I don’t know when it would be better.
How can you keep things the way it’s always been? Can anyone keep up with time? I don’t know with you, but I seem to be having a hard time trying to finish this race. Maybe I should take on a new challenge or maybe I need a fresh start. I am just tired running this confusing track.
Before I pull out my flash drive this morning, I forgot to copy what I blogged yesterday. I take it that it’s not meant for the public eye (yes, I am now keeping it from you).
Damn, I’m still not okay. It would be a lie if I say otherwise and I hate lying…especially to myself. What the hell is wrong with me? I’m not usually like this. I feel heavy with sarcasm and I am full of self-destructive thoughts. This has to stop. Think of happy thoughts…
**Ting!**
I got one! One reason to smile! I have reached PR 4! Next target, PR 6 by the end of the month. Yipee!
While everyone’s unpacking stuff from their trip, I’m still busy watching dvds and splashing out on more dvds. That’s all I ever did during my 4-day time off. And hey, who’s complaining? Definitely not me. I love every minute of it. Now guess what? I found Pan’s Labyrinth for me to see later. St. Francis square is my new haunt and Muslim dvd hawkers, my new friends. If I want to get my hands on a rare film, no matter how hard it is to acquire, they’ll get it for me. No need to rush to Quiapo! All I have to do is send a text message and pronto – a clear copy with correct decipherable subtitles! Amazing! Haha. I wouldn’t have recognized them if they didn’t come towards me and tell me that my order’s ready. Great! They remembered me. Well, how could they forget me? I ask a lot about films and haggle down their prices habitually (do I need to tell you how fulfilling it feels?). What a scrooge. Haha.
Ok wait, I haven’t told you about what I really DID to while away my time. So here goes…
Thursday: Well, nothing much happened. I slept through the day and prepped myself up for the dvd marathon commencement which followed shortly after I woke up.
Friday: Slept. Ate. Texted. Watched. Talked. Slept. Went to Mass. Chomped. Watched. Dozed. Dreamed.
Saturday: Crazy day. Seish and I were the first ones who opened SM North. At first we were debating whether establishments were still closed or already back in business and as usual, I won. I gave him a shrug and a look saying, I told you so and started looking for Ethan’s gift – a batman costume. What can I say? He snatched it away as soon as I got home and tried it on. If only everyone’s as appreciative as him, then gift-giving wouldn’t be so hard for me.Haha.
Later in the afternoon, we went to Presidents Tower to go for a swim since Ethan’s having his pool party there. I didn’t soak myself in the water for long, though. After 30 mins or less, I’m off to the shower room to change. Except that there’s not a drop of water coming out from the shower! Oh, great! Setting aside the bad luck, my day went terrific! I’ve gone to confession with Seish and my brother (yeah, good influence ako) and attended the vigil mass at 9pm at Sacred Heart Parish Church. After that, it’s lamon time again!
Sunday: Laze around the house, sleep, sleep some more and zzzzzzzzzzz….
God, how I missed sleeping.
Monday: Off to work in Bermuda shorts, baby-tee and slippers. Was too sluggish to put on a decent outfit.
And finally, today. Tuesday. I slept at around 3:30 to finish something. There were no pending tasks for this day so what’s a better thing to do than sit around here? Go to Megamall to hit our target: merienda smorgasbord at Dad’s. Whoa. My greedy-gut crony (Bheng) really knows how to polish off the plates and so do I. Too bad, Kayrubs didn’t have much space to stuff all the food in. Bleh! Buti pa kami. Then instead of heading straight to the office, we tested our racing skills at Timezone first and trash talk each other all the way through. So, inggit kayo noh? This is one of those times when you wish you’re living my life, isn’t it? Why not trade places with me then? Yeah, I know…because epac isn’t the place to be. Haha. Ok, I gotta bolt out of this and run home. I’m sick and that’s why I won’t be here tomorrow – hopefully. =p
